Pepsi Throwback

I had heard that Pepsi has a new/old formula, containing sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup (HFCS). Found it at the local supermarket the other day. It's called "Pepsi Throwback". Tasted OK. I prefer Coke, but this Pepsi was defintely better than the HFCS-sweetened one. And it's true, sugar instead of HFCS, and no preservatives.

Cool! I haven't heard of it. I must hunt it down immediately. I'm keep trying to find something sweet without HFCS but they put that poison in everything. Don't even get me started with "sugar-free" stuff. It's not sugar-free if it has sucralose.

I'm also going to look for Zevia in stores since they seem to have more distribution now in local stores.

Coke alternative to Pepsi Throwback

Some stores carry Mexican Coke (I know that sounds illicit) because our guests from south of the border prefer the taste of real sugar to HFCS. The one store I know carries it is Winco (not sure how far the stores range).

I'd heard of Mexican Coke

Thanks, I'd heard of Mexican Coke, but I've never seen it here (Berkshires, MA/NY border). I remember a while back news of a place that would ship Dr. Pepper sweetened with sugar, but shipping costs were too high for my blood sugar.
