"The sheeping of America is nearly complete." -- Ted Nugent

I'm browsing today with Opera 7.0b2. The new look takes a little getting used to. Starts up really, really fast. I like.

L. Neil Smith at Sierra Times - Ghettoer Than Thou - Neil was walking the local mall in order to care for his daughter, when he caught an argument between some teens about who was more ghetto. Neil wonders what they were talking about because Fort Collins doesn't have a ghetto. His point, however, is that the Zero Agression Principle implies open borders. [sierra]

Thomas L. Knapp at Rational Review - Situation Report - Rational Review News Digest already has 4,000 subscribers only 4 weeks into its existence. This is good news, but each of its editors is spending 10-20 hours a week at it, and for Mr. Knapp Rational Review has become effectively a full time job. Donations requested. [smith2004]

Thomas L. Knapp at Rational Review - Hijacking a movement - if the movement against war on Iraq is to survive, it's leaders need to stay on topic. People with radically different opinions on other issues can join in opposition to the war if everyone talks about just that at anti-war rallies. [smith2004]

Jennifer Freeman at Sierra Times - Foul Language of the Gun Debate - correcting the mis-nomers invented by victim disarmers to create a gun "control" debate out of thin air. [sierra]

The Baltimore Sun - Prosecutor drops charges in shooting of 4 officers - they broke down a guy's door for a drug search without announcing that they were police, and he shot them with his .45-caliber handgun. Sometimes DAs get it right. [trt-ny]

AP via the Seattle Post-Intelligencer - Sniper victims' families prepare lawsuit over assault rifle - the Brady Bunch is representing two families in a lawsuit against Bushmaster and Bull's Eye Shooter Supply. Obviously, to any reasonable person, neither company had anything to do with the killings. Hopefully, the judge will throw it out early on. [firearmnews]
