Susan Wells and Scott Bieser - A Drug War Carol - Great comic book telling of the drug war story. Many liars exposed. From Mr. Bieser's smith2004 intro:
From a story concept and some copious research by longtime libertarian activist Susan Wells, I scripted and led a small team of artists (myself, Lloyd W. Meek, and the enigmatic "~3~") to create a visual re-telling of the Dickens classic A Christmas Carol,, with some major -- ah -- revisions: Scrooge is Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy, Mary Jane Cratchet is a medical cannabis patient, and Scrooge is visited by the ghost of Harry Anslinger, the original "drug czar." And wait till you see the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future!

Please read, and enjoy, and most importantly, remember.

Penn of Penn & Teller - Federal V.I.P. Penn - Penn doesn't like being groped by the airport nazis any more than you or I. But because he's a celebrity, he gets more respect, at least from the local police and the higher ups in the t.s.a. [smith2004]

Last Thursday I was flying to LA on the Midnight flight. I went through security my usual sour stuff. I beeped, of course, and was shuttled to the "toss-em" line. A security guy came over. I assumed the position. I had a button up shirt on that was untucked. He reached around while he was behind me and grabbed around my front pocket. I guess he was going for my flashlight, but the area could have loosely been called "crotch." I said, "You have to ask me before you touch me or it's assault."

Ron Paul's Texas Straight Talk - The Great Global Social Security Giveaway? - the Bush administration is preparing a billion dollar a year social security giveaway to, get this, Mexican citizens.

Wealth International, Limited is an offshore financial services provider. They recommend Belize as "the best offshore trust jurisdiction in the world." They have an updated-thrice-weekly Offshore News Clips section that looks worth checking occasionally. Added to my links page. I have no personal experience with them. Caveat emptor.
