# Steve Sack at Marc Brands Liberty - Dead Wrong - cartoon commentary on the dead associated with the U.S. war on Iraq. Hehe. [smith2004]

# WHAM TV, Rochester, NY - Feds Raise Credit Card Minimum Payment - having a hard time making the minimum payments on your credit cards? Then you'll love this. The feds have proclaimed that the minimum payment must increase from 2% to 4% over the next year. In the old days, when the credit card rates were mostly 1.5% per month (18% per year), the minimum due was 3%. Worked pretty well. [claire]

# Yahoo! News - Bill Would Put Serial Numbers on Bullets - Kalifornia is getting closer to mandating a laser-etched serial number on all handgun bullets. I want mine inscribed "Bill Lockyer". [clairefiles]

# GeekWithA.45 - Sigh... - the Geek reminisces about a time when guns were much less regulated. I especially liked this commment from a reader. This is how it's supposed to be, nationwide: [geekwitha.45]

I was born in the '58 and I remember going duck hunting before school with my school mates, then showing up at school in our hunting gear and bringing our guns and ammo into the school to safely store them in our lockers.

I remember going into Grant Gilbertson's office during lunch break to show off my Remington 870 12 gage shotgun during duck hunting and my Ruger .44 Mag Rifle during deer season.

Grant was ex Army Lt., our Biology Teacher and an accomplished Farmer with a fabulous sense of humor. He made a big deal out of checking out our firearms and inspecting them for cleanliness.

Teachers and Principals never gave it a second thought.

Ahhhh, those were the days...
