Letter writer needs perhaps a little more understanding of gun issues

A final reference: The recent Supreme Court ruling that stated that a woman who had obtained a restraining order could not hold the police liable for the murders of her children, as they have no obligation to protect an individual, but only provide a service in general. As the body of court precedent implies, you are responsible for your defense.
Can there be any real surprise that the fastest growing group among the 4 million legal gun sales last year was women? Certainly, this will open a whole new approach by safety consultants.
The TU printed two pro-gun letters today. The other one, by Alan K. Miller, they titled NRA believes training can promote gun safety.
