I Want Both of Us

I want both of us
To start talking about this great love

As if you, I, and the sun were all married
And living in a tiny room,

Helping each other to cook,
Do the wash,
Weave and sew,
Care for our beautiful
Animals.

We all leave each morning
To labor on the earth's field.
No one does not lift a great pack.

I want both of us to start singing like two
Traveling minstrels
About this extraordinary existence
We share,

As if
You, I, and God were all married

And living in
A tiny
Room.

I installed Mandrake 6.1 under {@VMware} on my Windoze 2000 laptop. It's a very old version, I know, but I just happenned to have a CD for it that Brian gave to me long ago. It took quite a while, but it's working. BlogMax appears to work on Emacs 20.4.1 in that environment. Testing with Netscape 4.61 discovered a missing </td> in the calendar. Fixed. I've dubbed it BlogMax 0.9, and will submit it to freshmeat soon, in sha' allah.

John P. Mulligan has pictures of his new Palm Vx and OmniSky modem over at thinkhole. Not to be outdone, here are my new toys. Click on a picture for a larger version.

Reuters via loony.org - U.S. Government Sued for Deceptive Practices - it's about time! Of course, the government runs the courts, too... Suing the government is all well and good, but they've got no money except ours with which to pay off the suit. What we really need is criminal charges against 90% of government employees. We can let all the drug users out of jail and replace them with fascists. Ha. loony
