Bill over at End the War on Freedom may have over stated the case, but I understand his feelings.I replied as follows:The Elian raid has bothered quite a few people...
I've been conflicted about my overstatement of the case ever since I did it. I almost removed that text from the page that night, but decided to let it sit. It's something I need to chew on. I realize intellectually that peaceful means nearly always work better than violence, but my anger doesn't listen to intellectual arguments, and I was really angry that day. I finally cried about it a little in the car today, but not enough to really heal the hurt. It's a very deep hurt, likely older than this life, if you believe in that stuff. Thanks for hearing the feelings through my angry words.

I just popped "flounder" into the Weblogs.com search engine to see if anyone had linked to this page. I saw a link for a page called "End The War On Freedom". Great! I thought it sounded like a pretty cool page.It is likely that some of the stories I point to are no more than propoganda, though I still believe that the federal government is corrupt beyond repair. I have been filled with hate of late. I am ashamed.
When I got there I found masses of wierdo propaganda and hate. Pity.
I'm following latte's lead, and taking a short break from political news. It probably won't last long. Politics is my current addiction.
