Obama Signs NDAA Martial Law

Matt D at YouTube via clipofreality and TruthSeekingElf - It has been reported that Obama signed yesterday H.R. 1540, the "National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012". At post time, the bill status says: "Latest Major Action: 12/21/2011 Presented to President," but I expect that will be updated soon. Sections 1021 & 1022 of the version he signed (PDF) authorize indefinite military detention of:

(1) A person who planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001, or harbored those responsible for those attacks.

(2) A person who was a part of or substantially supported al-Qaeda, the Taliban, or associated forces that are engaged in hostilities against the United States or its coalition partners, including any person who has committed a belligerent act or has directly supported such hostilities in aid of such enemy forces.

As I've said before, I consider this legislation to be a declaration of war by the US government on its own citizens. It's the end of the Constitution. The end of the Bill of Rights. The end of centuries of trial by jury as a check on the power of the king. Bad mistake, tyrants. You are about to awaken a beast that will eat you alive.

The rules of engagement have changed. If a federal agent comes to my house, I will be very tempted to shoot it on sight, rather than risk detention without trial. So, federal agents, don't come to my house, unless you want a shootout. I am not yet hunting you down, but take this further, and I will have to. I'm just a middle-aged fat guy with a computer and a few rifles, but there are millions of Americans who are much better trained and organized than I. You want a war? You'll get one.

Section 1245 of the bill imposes financial sanctions on Iran. Hey. Obama. Are you worried about Iran getting nukes? Let me give you a clue. Wyoming already has nukes. You should be worried about real Americans in Wyoming getting control of them and targeting you in DC. That's a much more likely scenario than Iran doing anything to harm you.

And the people wait

The founding fathers would have been shooting by now, what are the American people waiting for. At the rate the U.S. government is going, we the people will soon be saying,it's to late now. This government can't wait to start another war, they don't want our troops brought home, their to well trained and that scares the government, plus there are no jobs for them and it will just push the unemployment rate up and that will hurt obama's re election plans.
