New Default Theme, Configurable Blocks

I changed the default theme to box_grey. This theme has a search box in the upper-right-hand corner, so I turned off the one in the right column. You can choose another theme, and turn that search box back on. You can also disable some of the other left and right column boxes, and enable a couple of new left-column boxes that are off by default. If you have an account that is. Do this on your "my account" page.

I've decided that I'm going to use my blog pages for personal news and administrative stuff. I'll use stories for news. And we'll see how it works.

I'm going to try doing my blogging here today, and maybe for a while, leaving the old blog pages around until I convert them. I modified the interwiki module to get my source links in square brackets, and I discovered that the "Quote" button is accessible with Ctrl+Shift+Q. That's most of what I need, I think.

Note that the "Quote", "B", [i]"I"[/i], "Link", and "Image" buttons that you see at the top of editing forms really only work for bbcode input style. With the exception of "Quote", which works everywhere.

Are we having fun yet?
