Kathrun Marchocki at the Union Leader via MSNBC - the feds are adding insult to injury bringing Ed and Elaine Brown in for further indictments, this time for having the utter gall to be prepared to defend themselves against the kidnappers in blue. I only wish they had managed to kill a bunch of federal agents, preferably every fed who's ever set foot in New Hampshire. It's pretty obvious that the goons do not intend to ever let them out of prison. [gsc]

An 11-count indictment accuses the former Plainfield couple of obstruction of justice, carrying and possessing a firearm in connection with a violent crime, and conspiring to prevent federal agents from arresting them, in part by arming themselves with firearms, ammunition, explosives and pipe bombs and recruiting armed, like-minded supporters to their cause.

Muirhead urged Brown to allow him to appoint her an attorney, noting she faces a minimum mandatory 30-year prison sentence and up to life in prison if convicted of the most serious charge alone. She refused.
