Byzantium v0.1a (Scarab) Released!
HacDC has released a 300 meg live CD image that they've named Byzantium Linux. It includes software to turn your computer's wifi into a node in a mesh network. This is their first alpha release, so it's likely buggy, but they're asking people to try it and report bugs. They're also seeking developers. Haven't tried it.
The Byzantium home page on their wiki is wiki.hacdc.org/index.php/Byzantium Byzantium is based on Porteus, which is an updated version of SLAX (a Slackware live CD).
