Bitcoin
In March of 2012, somebody donated 12.922 BTC to me. Was worth less than $20 at the time, IIRC. Imagine my surprise to go to MtGox and discover a price of $160/BTC, making my little donation worth over $2,000. And the price is rising rapidly today, last sale at $191. Gee, if I hold it another year do you suppose it will be worth $200,000? Naw. Couldn't be.
Digital Money
Maybe someone can point me to a good, grade-school economics level description of digital money. On the surface it seems any value for a bit coin rests on a bunch of sophisticated computer code that can't be broken. I just have a hard time concretizing that as something of value that is negotiable or valuable in its own right. But I'm keeping an open mind.

I think that BC is about to get wiped out. You may want to liquidate some of your holdings for now. Look at the past charts.
