Hello Again Internet. Let's See How This Goes

Submitted by Bill St. Clair on Sun, 07 Apr 2013 22:33:41 GMT  <== Politics ==>

It's been a little over nine months since I shut down this blog, in order to focus on my spiritual well-being. I'm doing pretty well in that department at present, meditating for 30 minutes to an hour almost every morning, and going to satsang twice a week.

I've been drawn back into awareness of politics by all the victim disarmament excrement exuding from DC and many states, New York where I live being one of the worst offenders. As part of my withdrawal last June, I deregistered to vote. I do not plan to re-register. I'm still an agorist. Picking the lesser of two evils is still evil. The concept that one person can represent 600,000 others is absurd. You can only represent yourself. And unanimous consent is the only moral way to make group decisions.

I haven't decided how I'll use this space, but it's likely to be more of my voice and less simply linking to other voices. And it's likely to be low frequency.

Still staying off of Twitter and Google Plus. Still on Facebook, friends with only those I know in meatspace. Still keeping The Mental Militia Forums running, and occasionally contributing. Still writing Lisp every day for a living.

The "news aggregator" link in the left column now goes to a local page that is collected by code I wrote last week in a few hours of spare time. The asterisk next to it ("*") links to the old Google Reader aggregator, which will continue to work until Google shuts down Reader in July.
