Man, Economy, & State

I changed the template a little. The line of links that used to be in the header section above is now in the right-hand column, below the Atlanta Declaration. I'll likely revamp those links sometime soon into something that looks a little more like a blogroll. This page should now be even easier to navigate with Lynx.

# Murray N. Rothbard at the Ludwig von Mises Institute - Man, Economy, & State - one of the classic libertarian books is now available on-line. The whole thing is available as one 7.6 meg PDF file, and the preface and first three chapters are available in HTML, with more to come. [notreasonblog]

# Kim du Toit - Airline "Security" - the story of Mr. du Toit's trip home with a virtual armory of knives and swords. He made it. Didn't say if the "Swiss flame" made it home through the post (it was a knife, so it couldn't go in carry on, but it was also a butane lighter, so it couldn't go in checked baggage, though that's exactly where the package he mailed it in traveled, go figure). [kimdutoit]

# Edgar J. Steele - Dumber and Dumbestest - on the recent sword ban in Australia. To Mr. Steele, Jews are responsible, of course, but other than that paragraph, the rest of it is pretty good.

# I downloaded Password Safe, a nifty little utility for storing usernames and passwords in an encrypted file, opened by a single key. Available for Windows or Linux. [cryptogram]

# Mad Ogre - Springfield Armory XD-9 Sub-Compact - a review of a little gun that is "Said to Out-Glock the Glock". He likes it. Hey, Mikey. [madogre]
