Rep. Renzi Set To Introduce Bill Expediting Out-of-State Gun Purchases
Gun Owners of America - Rick Renzi (R-AZ) plans to introduce the "Firearm Transfer Improvement Act" in the U.S. House. This bill would allow you to purchase a firearm, be it handgun, rifle, or shotgun, out of your home state, and take possession on the spot. Yes! Finally an end to part of the 1968 Nazi Gun Control Act. You can ask your representative to become an original cosponsor here (click "Issues and Legislation" then the "Rep Renzi..." link under "Current Action Alerts"). [gunblogs]
I certainly don't give this
I certainly don't give this bill much of a chance, but it was easy to send an email to my congress critter, so I did.

Well, I suppose I wish him well with it. But I don't beg congressvermin to do things, and I sure don't hold out much hope for this bill.
