Jeremy Bogaisky at Forbes - "The King of Beers will be serving a new master." Inbev, owner of the brands Beck's, Stella Artois, Brahma, Hoegaarden, Leffe, Staropramen, Skil, Cass, Jupiler, Klinskoye, Lakeport, Chernigivske, Ozujsko, Antarctica, Bohemia, Alexander Keith's, Sedrin, & Quilmos, will be adding Anheuser-Busch's 100 brands, including Budweiser & Michelob, to its repertoire. The Anheuser-Busch board has agreed to be acquired for $45 billion, $70 per share. The deal must still be approved by shareholders and the feds. The new conglomorate will be called Anheuser-Busch InBev. [gsc]
