Google Page Creator
pages.google.com is a new [AJAX] application that allows even the clueless to create simple web sites. Just type your page content, with buttons for bold, italics, bulletted lists, text color, font, & size, and paragraph alignment, and pop-up dialogs for images & links, press the "Publish" button, and you're done. And you can edit the raw HTML if you want. Lots of available page styles and one-, two-, or three-column layout. And you get 100 megabytes of storage. For free. I hope they add simple templates, so that you can have fixed side bars and footers, but it works right now. I created Freedom's Roost as an example. You need a GMail account to use it. Ask, and I'll send you an invite. [script]
