H110

From smith2004, hehe:
We all know that it is a sin for an Islamic male to see any woman other than his wife naked, and that he must commit suicide if he does. So next Sunday at 4:00 PM Eastern time, all American women are asked to walk out of their house completely naked to help weed out any neighborhood terrorists. Circling your block for one hour is recommended for this antiterrorist effort. All men are to position themselves in lawn chairs in front of their house to prove they are not terrorists, and to demonstrate that they think it's okay to see nude women other than their wife and to show support for all American women. And since the Koran also does not approve of alcohol, a cold six-pack at your side is further proof of your antiterrorist sentiment.

The American Government appreciates your efforts to root out terrorists and applauds your participation in this anti terrorist activity.

God bless America!
It is your patriotic duty to pass this on.

From The Federalist via kimdutoit:

From militant:

"The government today announced that it is changing it's emblem from an Eagle to a condom because it more accurately reflects the government's political stance. A condom stands up to inflation, halts production, destroys the next generation, protects a bunch of pricks, and gives you a sense of security while you're actually being screwed."

# I got a pound of Hodgdon H110 (smokeless pistol powder) on Tuesday night. Last night, I used it to load 50 rounds of .44 Magnum. 20 rounds are 18.9 grains of powder pushing a 300 grain Hornady XTP bullet. The other 30 rounds are 23.9 grains of powder pushing a 240 grain Speer hollow point. Range test tomorrow or Sunday, in sha' allah. H110 has tiny little granules that work through my (Lee) powder measure, leaving a small amount on my hand each time I fill a case.

# Jason Bennetto at The Belfast Telegraph - I would do it again, says father who stabbed intruder - man defends self and family in own house. Unfortunately, the perp is still breathing. The "authorities" are considering whether to charge the man with assault. [kimdutoit]

A man who admitted stabbing a suspected burglar with a bread knife to protect his wife and child is being investigated for assault.

Antonio Caeiro, 33, who said he wounded a 19-year-old intruder at his home in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, said yesterday that he would do the same again to defend his family.

The incident has similarities with the case of Tony Martin, the Norfolk farmer who was convicted of manslaughter and jailed for shooting dead a teenage burglar in 1999.
I sent the following letter to the editor:
I read in the internet version of the Telegraph the story of Antonio Caeiro's defense of his family against a ne'er-do-well who broke into his house. All I can say is, "Bravo, Mr. Caeiro! If it happens again, do yourself and your neighbors a favor and kill the bastard." I realize that the police have to investigate, but unless they find a reason to believe that things happened differently than was reported in your story, if they decide to prosecute him for assault, Mr. Caeiro would do himself and his neighbors a favor by taking his 12-inch kitchen knife to the court house to dispatch those bastards.

By the way, has Tony Martin been awarded a medal yet for helping to rid his neighborhood of vermin?

# Mirsada Buric-Adam at The (Arizona) Daily Courier - Judge tosses out evidence in Howell case - police broke into Robert Howell's house at 6:30am after giving him five seconds to answer the door. He fired at them, unfortunately missing. The local judge did the right thing. Yay! [claire]

Yavapai County Superior Court Judge Janis Sterling ruled that the state cannot use evidence police obtained while executing two search warrants during a drug raid on Howell's home.

Kenneth Ray, one of Howell's lawyers, called the ruling extraordinary.

"All evidence from the point of their efforts to execute the search warrant until the last piece of evidence was taken out of that house are suppressed," he said. "They cannot use the gun, they cannot use my client's statements and they cannot use anything that was the fruit of the execution of that search warrant."

Ray said the state can appeal this decision only if it files a motion to dismiss the case and the court grants it.

This means that the 51-year-old Prescott man, who faces multiple felony charges in connection with the incident, most likely will not face a jury trial, which was to commence on Aug. 24.
