AP via Wired - Pretty Big Rocks, All Lined Up - it doesn't say how close they are, though Billy's Astronomy Program says that on May 5, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Saturn will be between 25 and 31 degrees of altitude and at a declination of between 21 and 24 degrees of Taurus. That's pretty close. Jupiter will be 30 degrees away in declination (at 23 degrees of Gemini) and 20 degrees higher in the sky (51 degrees).

Through the next four weeks, Jupiter, Mars, Mercury, Saturn and Venus will appear tightly clustered in the western sky. They will be visible in the evening with the naked eye.

"The five naked-eye planets are converging in one part of the sky and from now until mid-May you can see all five at one glance, which is pretty unusual," said John Mosley, an astronomer at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles.
