More Shooting Stuff

According to a letter from W. Tandy Chenault in the February 2002 issue of Guns Magazine, Wal-Mart has instituted a no-guns-in-the-store policy. Mr. Chenault saw a sign at the entrance of his local Wal-Mart saying, "Attention Shoppers, no firearms, concealed or otherwise, are permitted inside the building." He contacted the local manager and was informed that this is a nationwide Wal-Mart decision. Time to hammer Wal-Mart with letters and phone calls and boycott them until they change this policy.

According to an ad in the same issue of Guns Magazine, Sinclair International stocks an assortment of replacement triggers. They "inventory Jewell, Timney, Rifle Basix, and Shilen triggers for Remington, Savage, Mauser, Rugers, Springfields, Winchesters, AR-15's, and custom action."

BSA Optics has a new Mil Dot Scope. 4-16x40, 6-24x40, 8-32x40 with mil dot reticle and 4-16x40 & 6-24x40 with illuminated reticle. Finger-adjustable "return to zero" windage and elevation knobs with 1/8 MOA adjustments. I haven't looked up the prices yet.

I got a Cabela's 2002 Shooting Catalog in the mail yesterday. Good stuff. Reloading, clothing, rifles, ammunition, optics.

There's a new issue ot The Libertarian Enterprise: "I'm Hep!". I'm in a hurry this morning, so I won't review the articles.
