Laws of Physics? What Laws of Physics?

From russmo.com:
Heroism on command, senseless violence, and all the loathsome nonsense that goes by the name of patriotism -- how passionately I hate them. -- Albert Einstein

Kevin Tuma - Predators - Cartoon commentary on gun "control". Ooohhhh.

russmo.com - Sordid Affairs - cartoon commentary on Congress' involvement in the Enron collapse. Hehe.

bob lonsberry - New Security Is a Charade - Mr. Lonsberry doesn't like the new airport security rules. He thinks that every bag should be searched. Not in my country they won't. I submitted the following comment:

We're never going to stop terrorists. Never. No matter how much we increase our security. So, let the market handle it. Those who don't mind being cavity searched, put in prison jumpsuits, and chained to their seats, which will be the result of this insane "security" business, can fly on airlines that provide that service. Those who prefer liberty to security can buy their tickets on airlines that encourage people to travel well-armed. We'll find out which companies prosper.

Scott Cattanach at anti-state.com - The Monster Factory - some dark facts about the prison industry. [anti-state]

Justice has been squeezed out of the criminal justice system. Wrongful conviction has become routine as heartless prosecutors and police seek to close cases and mount up convictions. The system today is budget and career driven, justice be damned.

An ever-growing number of books, innocence projects and overturned convictions speak to the unreliability of conviction.
Paul Craig Roberts, June 19, 2001

Prison rape has become a hidden epidemic. Some experts estimate that between 300,000 to 600,000 men and boys are victimized every year.... These gruesome statistics are all too personal for me. I've visited inmates in over 600 prisons and talked with many rape victims; I've seen fresh blood on cell floors where an attack had just occurred.
Charles Colson

Rape serves as a prison-management tool.

Rense.com - IRS Raids Anti-Income Taxer's Home and Office - Armed IRS agents executed a search warrant at the home and office of Steve A. Swan, an Irwin Schiff inspired tax protester. [grabbe]

Swan estimates that there are approximately 1 million Americans who have stopped paying Federal Income Taxes using Irwin Schiff's material. And these people do file tax returns, which includes an attachment explaining why the Federal Income Tax is a fraud. Some of these people have been filing these "Zero Returns" for up to 10 years and not one person who has been filing them has been prosecuted. And many of them have even received refunds from the IRS.

J. McMichael - Muslims Suspend Laws of Physics! - a long-winded analysis concluding that airplanes flying into the World Trade Center buildings could not possibly have caused their collapse. For starters, jet fuel doesn't burn at a high enough temperature to melt steel. Sounds credible, but then, so did the pundits who told us how it happenned. [grabbe]

I believe in the President, the Flag, and the Statue of Liberty. I believe in the honesty of the FBI and the humility of military men. I believe in the network news anchor-persons, who strive to learn the truth, to know the truth, and to tell the truth to America.

And I believe all Americans are so well educated in the basic physics discussed above, they would rise up in fury if someone tried to pull a cheap Hollywood trick on them.

Hand me that remote, will you? I believe <clonk>. I believe <clonk>. I believe ...
