Tiny Torx Hunt

When I first got my Columbia River Steve Ryan Model Seven Design Combo Edge knife, I noticed that I would eventually need a tiny Torx driver to tighten the screws. So I went to the local hardware store to look for it. I bought a nice screwdriver bit set that had lots of Torx sizes, but none small enough for my knife. I forgot about it until a couple of days ago when I noticed that my knife's clip was loose. So I went to a couple of gun shops near my mother-in-law's house. No luck. Not only did they have nothing for sale, they didn't have a small enough Torx key in their own collection of tools. I tried an auto parts store and Lowes, where I got a recommendation of mail-order from Jensen tools. I finally found what I wanted, however, at Wal-Mart. They had a "Handiworks 6 Piece Precision Screwdriver Set" for $1.99. 2.4mm and 3.0mm slotted, #00 & #0 Phillips, and T-6 & T-8 Torx keys. Cheap, made in China, but functional. The smaller of the two Torx keys fit. The clip is once again good and tight.

Be careful when you wish for security. You may get what you wish for. A police state, where security patrols are everywhere.
