We made it home without incident. It was cold all the way, but no snow. Going to the school's annual Christmas show tonite, and to my brother's house for Christmas dinner tomorrow afternoon, in sha' allah. My parents are visiting, which makes 10 for dinner.

When I called my state representative to complain about having to provide my fingerprint to renew my driver's license, he told me about all of the new features on the license, one of which is a hologram. He was trying to think of the word "hologram" when he asked me, "Is it... holocaust?" I said, "No, that's what's going to happen after we give the state a copy of our fingerprints."
