First Noreaster of 2011
The first noreaster of this winter dropped over a foot of snow a few weeks ago. Last night we got about 10" of snow. Weather.com expects another 3-5 inches today and 1" tonite. I walked up to breakfast in it this morning. My 1/4 mile long access road hadn't been plowed yet, so it was hard work, pushing through snow over my boots. But I had a blast. The road at the top of the hill had been plowed recently, so once I got up there, it was smooth sailing. I tried out my new -20F mittens. They were too hot. My hands were sweating. Good to know.
