# Liz Michael - Shooting Them Finally Comes Into Play - Ms. Michael was about to put out the word that New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin and the New Orleans police should be shot on sight. She changed her mind because they rescinded their order to confiscate guns. She reminds us that the reason we celebrate Independence Day is because THEY SHOT THE BASTARDS!!! She then defines the rules of engagement for the near future. According to Ms. Michael, the following people should be shot:
  • Any public official, in whatever capacity, who calls for the disarmament of the People, and calls for the confiscation of their firearms and other weapons.
  • The California Highway Patrol using the force and color of law outside of their jurisdiction.
  • Blackwater Security, if patrolling the public thoroughfares.
  • Armed bands of thugs.
  • TSA agents, if the opportunity presents itself.
  • Anyone who obstructs aid.
  • Anyone who obstructs egress of anyone not charged with a crime.
  • Animal abusers. Shoot a dog without a good reason and die.
I mirrored the article here.

# Connie du Toit at The Anarchangel - A message for the Nation of Riflemen - a repost of a message that Mrs. Du Toit posted in Anarchangel comments. Still pretty coy about the reasons for the shutdown, but nice to hear a peep. [geekwitha.45]

# Paul Craig Roberts at LewRockwell.com The Cakewalk War - not satisfied with the mass murder and lost war in Iraq, the Busheviks now want to murder civilians and lose wars in Syria and Iran. Go figure. [lew]

At the Human Rights Conference on September 9, the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mahathir Mohamad, described Americans as "people with blood-soaked hands."

"Who are the terrorists," asked Mahathir, the Iraqis or the Americans?

# The Opera web browser is now free. No more ads. No more licensing fee. They're selling premium support for $29/year. They're now at version 8.5. Available for Windows, Macintosh, lots of different Linux version, FreeBSD, Solaris, QNX, and many mobile phones. It comes pre-installed on some phones, another revenue source for Opera, most likely.
