Century Arms 1975 AK Bullpup Rifle

Century Arms has a new 7.62x39 AK-style bullpup rifle. Google lists prices from $479 to $595. Holt Bodinson, in a Guns Magazine review, calls it very accurate, for an AK. Images shamelessly cropped from a sale ad. [guns]

Bullpup trigger linkage

The trigger linkage on this model is garbage but can be fixed by a competent gunsmith (usually for under $100). If your gunsmith has problems fixing the trigger linkage problem.... find a new gunsmith.

Bullpup AK Rifle

Can you fill me in on the safety for this rifle? If it is on the back side and hard to get that would kind of kill my desire for one....

Looks to me to be in the standard place

Looks to me, from the top photo, to be in the standard place, on the right side just behind the magazine well.

slings

Submitted by Fox on Sun, 26 Sep 2010 05:35:10 GMT

i see it still has the sling loop on the front, side of the gun, but would there be a way to get a loop on the butt of the gun. like on the very bottom or sides in any way? and are their any other stock/grip options or addons to this type of gun? or am i just stuck with the cheap looking plastic components? i wanna get one of these, and i have a bit of gun smithing ideas for it for worse-case scenarios. but if theres things like "replacement butt stocks" or things to replace the "plastic" with something more sturdy looking or with rail abilities it would make my work a little easier.

i recently bought one, the safety is on the right side behind the magazine, like a normal ak. only thing i noticed (and i dont know how it is on other ak's), but with the bolt all the way back i was not able to put the safety on.
